The Riojan group Elaborados Naturales has developed a new project, BS Cocinados S.L., a new refrigerated potato omelette production plant located in Funes, Navarra. With this new project, the company will increase its production capacity by 30%, will be able to access international markets, will distribute its product in a well-known national supermarket chain, will incorporate state-of-the-art technology to improve the quality of the final product and will guarantee food safety. It will incorporate nine new production lines in a modern factory with the latest adapted technologies.
In this ambitious project, CAINOX® has supplied the drainage line of the plant, always meeting the needs of the company to comply scrupulously with the standards of Quality and Food Safety. For this purpose, more than 500 meters of drainage channelmade of 2 mm thick AISI304 stainless steel, with a total width of 190 mm and with grating of anti-slip bars, which guarantees the safety of its workers and a great resistance, almost 40 watertight manhole covers and, in addition to the 30 industrial drains and, in addition to the 30 industrial drains attached to the channel, another 30 drains as high-flow point drains.
All of these products are manufactured entirely in stainless steel, according to the hygienic design based on the guidelines of the EHEDG (The European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group), a non-profit consortium that promotes food safety through improved hygienic design and engineering. hygienic design and engineering in all aspects of food processing in compliance with European legislation that requires it to be carried out hygienically, with machinery, equipment and under appropriate conditions (Directive 2006/42/EC and standards EN 1672-2 and EN ISO 14159).
