After more than a decade under construction, the new Ambar brewery will start producing beer in mid-2019, making it one of the most modern and advanced plants in Spain and Europe, especially in terms of energy efficiency.
This large investment, carried out by the Aragonese group Ágora (La Zaragozana), the oldest brewery in Spain, has been developed in different phases that conclude with a sustainable factory that adapts to the latest innovations in its sector. In this last phase of the project, CAINOX® has worked closely with Property and Construction to provide the plant with a customised and optimised drainage system according to their needs.
For this purpose, around 140 metres of gutter of different widths with attached and individual drains have been supplied, all made of stainless steel and according to the recommendations of theEHEDGin terms ofhygienic designof the drainage products, such as the compact design of drains and channels, with rounded corners without welds to prevent the accumulation of contaminants and to promote self-cleaning, 2 mm thick stainless steel sheet and profile filling with epoxy resin to prevent deformation under heavy loads, anti-slip and slotted lattice gratings for M125 loads, siphons and removable solid waste collection baskets, not forgetting the modifications made to standard products to adapt them to the specific technical requirements of the project, such as outlets oriented at different angles to their usual location to facilitate connection to the general collector, drains of special sizes to achieve large evacuation flows, etc.
